Former street warden delivers gifts to sick...
Former street warden Frank Charles delivered gifts to sick children at Whipps Cross Hospital this afternoon.Mr Charles organises the annual Give A Gift Appeal, which sees shopkeepers donate presents to children at the Acorn Ward at the Leytonstone Hospital.
This year 70 presents were collected and given to grateful children.
Mr Charles was previously part of the council's street warden service, which was axed in the summer.
He begins a new job with Sure Start in the new year.
